Fareena Chanda is an interdisciplinary artist, designer and researcher who questions the definition and teleology of Islamic Art through a contemporary arts-practice. Using time-based media, installation art and traditional Islamic arts, Fareena creates immersive, embodied experiences that explore themes of self-knowledge, the physiology of being, the passage of time, and the elemental in nature.
